What are the felted baby shoes all about?

Woolly Wombat baby shoes are:

  • 100% Australian made with love – by me! In Perth, Western Australia. Each pair takes hours and days for me to complete.
  • Eco-friendly – no harsh chemicals are used to make the shoes. I literally make each pair of shoes with pure toxin-free soap and water + a lot of work.
  • Australian/NZ sourced wool – The wool comes from happy Australian or NZ sheep. I also try and buy straight from the farm.
  • Sustainable reusable resource – wool! Sheep can be shorn time and time again.
  • Ethical – you are buying straight from me!
  • Soft and gentle for your little ones.
  • Cosy and cute – Warm temperature regulating wool and a little bit insta worthy.

Woolly Wombat baby shoes make an incredible unique and special baby gift.

Do they stay on babies’ feet?

Yes! Woolly Wombat shoes are soft and mould to the little person’s foot. My little guy wears Woolly Wombat shoes and when they are a good fit, not loose, they stay on. Socks aren’t necessary because the wool lets tiny toes breathe, but if the shoes don’t quite fit try teaming with socks for a firmer fit.

The tabs at the back of the shoes are a feature of Woolly Wombat felt baby shoes. They help to gently ease the shoe onto your little one’s foot. Some tabs are off centre or of differing sizes in a pair. This is to be expected and part of the Woolly Wombat felt baby shoes’ character.

How long will it take to get my order?

I put a lot of focus on making sure the items you want get delivered to you as quickly as possible. Once you place your order, please allow 2-3 business days to process, pack and send your order. Custom orders require a further 1-2 weeks for me to complete the making.

Postage then takes between 2-7 days depending on your location in Australia. Postage to other places in the world take longer.

I make and process orders between Monday and Friday. Please note, I don’t ship on weekends and please allow extra time for your order to be processed during holidays seasons.

Do you ship to my country?

I currently ship within Australia and to New Zealand.

I can also offer postage to the UK and USA.

Contact me if you would like Woolly Wombat sent to another country and I can give you and indication of how much postage will be.

My order has not arrived – where is it?

I am so sorry. There are circumstances outside of my control (holidays, weather, postal services) that may cause shipping delays. Whilst most packages arrive on time there may be circumstances and delays that shipping carriers may experience. For this reason, I cannot guarantee the exact delivery time; the delivery time is the responsibility of the shipping company, but i do my darnedest to get it to you in a timely manner.

If you are experiencing slow post please give me a chance to see where your order is at. Contact me, tell me what you ordered and your order number and I will happily help you out.

Can I track my order?

Most of the time product tracking is available, however in some cases it may be unavailable, if that’s the case, contact me and I will keep you up to date on your order as best as I can!

Help! I entered the wrong address. Can you please change it?

Oh no! please contact me ASAP and I can see what I can do. If it is already on its way to you it may not be possible to re-route it. You may have to make friends with your neighbour..? 🙂

What’s the best way to look after my felted shoes?

Woolly Wombat shoes are made from 100% pure wool.

With wear, bobbling may occur. This is a natural process, simply collect any bobbles by hand as they appear.

To clean, firstly shake or scrap off any debris. If possible, gently spot wash areas with water and mild wool soap.

If required, gently hand wash only in lukewarm water with mild wool soap. Rinse, shape and leave to dry naturally in the shade.
