As the year draws to a close and Christmas is upon us, I just wanted to pop into your feed to give my heartfelt thanks.

While I haven’t posted much on social media this year I have still been here in the background. Around busy family life Woolly Wombat gives me an escape to be creative and find joy in slow craft.

I have attended the festival on different occasions as a street stroller and a stall holder and I can tell you, you will not regret an autumn/winter visit to beautiful Toodyay.

So many wonderful woolly things. All beautifully made by local artisans and artists - the best in their field in WA, Australia and International.

Woolly Wombat (me) will have felted soaps and wombats available at the stall.

There will also be so jewellery, scarves🧣, bags, creatures 🐙 and so much more wool fun.

To help fundraise a visit I just added about 12 pairs of already made up shoes to my online store at 20% off custom pricing. I’m calling it a sample sale. These are colours, sizes or ideas I wanted to try so I made a pair of slippers, because I just like making slippers! 😆
Most don’t have a sole on them yet so there is still room to choose painted or stitched on rubber sole.
All handmade by me.

Someone asked me if my woolly wombats could be a Christmas decoration and I (having never thought of it before!) was like oh sure they can 🎄 this little guy was the result 💗
Because I will forget and we should all be doing other more important things on the day, let me take this moment to say Merry Christmas or Merry however and whatever you celebrate 🎉 in the crazy season (maybe just to getting through the year?). I wish you lots of family FaceTime and warmth either by cosy fire or gentle sunshine ☀️ 🌊. I will be poolside here in Perth and might visit the zoo!

Hello 👋 I have been quiet around these social media parts lately. The reason is a new tiny-shoe model has been added to our family and is taking up my time in the best way.

We have been loving on him for six weeks now [Where has the time gone??] and enjoying the switch to life as a family of four
